Are you wanting a regular salary with flexible hours?

We are keen to hear from candidates who have a basic understanding of maintenance and are looking for flexible hours per week with a regular income? 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled person to help ensure a safe environment for our school.  Candidates must have an awareness of health and safety, preferably in schools and be competent in basic DIY/maintenance.

Candidates must be able to problem solve, be proactive, liaise with third parties, take pride in how the premises looks and have good verbal and written English.

Role is contracted up to 7 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time).  Days and times worked are negotiable and flexible.  There is potential for additional overtime as required. 

Salary based on Surrey Pay Scale S4 £24,275 FTE pro rata.  Hourly rate starting from £12.93

Closing date: Friday 6th December 2024, 12 noon

Start date: As soon as possible

*New* Nursery Teacher - November 2024

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified early years teacher to join our maintained nursery school. 

We are looking for an outstanding and experienced practitioner with a good knowledge and passion for inclusive teaching and SEND to join our mainstream nursery team.  The role will be working in our busy 3-5s Nursery class and the successful applicant will hold key working responsibilities.

We welcome applications from practitioners who hold a teaching qualification* (we welcome applications from those Early Years Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Status)

We can offer candidates excellent CPD opportunities and support from working in an outstanding team in one of Surrey’s four unique Maintained Nursery Schools.

Role information:-

  • The role is full time
  • Salary based on qualification and based on Teacher Pay Scales
  • Closing date: Tuesday 19th November 2024
  • Interviews: as soon as possible after shortlisting
  • Start date: ideally 1st January 2025, however, will consider Easter 2025 for the right candidate

Bank Staff - Nursery Assistant

We are keen to hear from qualified early years practitioners who are keen to either return to work or want experience of working in a Maintained Nursery School to join our team working on a Bank contract.

If you have a passion for working with young children and are keen to develop your career in one of Surrey’s four Maintained Nursery Schools, then we may have the role for you!  

Some children have learning needs, therefore excellent spoken and written English is required for the post.
